What is Vibrational Sound Therapy?

Vibrational Sound Therapy is a deep relaxation technique done by playing specifically designed sound bowls on different parts of the body. The client lays fully clothed on a massage table while metal bowls are purposefully placed on the body and activated by striking the bowl with a padded felt mallet. The result is a soothing sound and subtle vibration bringing the client into the Theta brainwave state.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an ancient holistic healing modality that originated in Japan in the 1800s. The goal of Reiki is to balance energy within the client. Reiki benefits include stress relief and relaxation. It helps bring about emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing as well as assisting the body’s natural healing processes.

Reiki is typically done with the client lying fully clothed on a massage table. The Reiki practitioner moves their hands over the client's body, and the hands hover just above the client or create gentle contact with light pressure.

Many hospitals and hospice facilities offer Reiki as a complementary treatment to typical western medicine. Reiki is not a religion and does no harm it is appropriate for anyone. The only thing needed is an open mind.

What is Smudging?

Burning sage or spraying sage spray (if circumstances dictate no flames) in a prescripted way can clean energy or negativity leaving a space feeling lighter and calmer. This is a good thing to do when moving into a new space, selling a home or when something or someone has left a space who brought heavy or negative energy. It is also is useful to clear space when trying something new and creative or starting a new project.
